This is an 1/8th scale Profile Scale Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat. The airplane has a 64 1/2” wingspan and 747 square inches of wing area. The airplane is for .50 to .65 engines. The laser cut kit has CAD plans with full size templates of all the parts. This is a big airplane, the fuselage is over 46” long and 11 7/8” tall. The airplane has a stock airfoil. That being said the airfoil has enough shape and thickness to be a decent sport flyer. The leading edge is sheeted back to the center of the spar, the remaining ribs not under the center sheeting have cap strips. The wing has the scale slight anhedral in the center with dihedral in the outer portion. The kit does not contain any control system hardware. The kits will sell for $236.00 plus Priority Mail shipping for 7 pounds from zip 60449. I sell full size .pdf files of the plans for $5.00 a set.
