HEAT LIGHTNING
« on: May 05, 2018, 02:22:09 PM »
The HEAT LIGHTNING is a 65”span,  834 square inch stunter. The airplane is for a single 60 size engine or a pair of 35 size engines. The airplane can be switched back and forth from single engine to twin engine. The wing planiform and the empennage shape are from Bob Whitely’s L.A Heat. The rib shapes transition from NACA 0016 at the root to NACA 0018 at the tips. The tips are built-up. The tank for the single engine goes in from the front. The single engine sits inverted in an open bottom cowling. The kit is all laser cut with CAD plans that have full size templates of all the parts. The kit does not include any control system hardware. The airplane was designed in 2002 but was never released. It has been totally redesigned for this release. The kits sell for $235.00 plus shipping for 5 pounds from zip 60449.
