This is a 1/6th scale Profile Scale De Havilland DHC 1 Chipmunk. The airplane has a 68 11/16” wingspan and 536 square inches of wing area. The airplane is for .45 to .55 engines. The laser cut kit has CAD plans with full size templates of all the parts. This is a big airplane, the fuselage is almost 51” long and 10” tall. The airplane has a stock airfoil. That being said the airfoil has enough shape and thickness to be a decent sport flyer. The airplane has leading edge spoilers on the wings near the fuselage and anti-spin strakes in front of the horizontal stabilizer. The leading edge is sheeted back to the center of the spar, the remaining ribs not under the center sheeting have cap strips. The wing has the scale dihedral.
