BIG PT 17 Survey

(1/2) > >>

pat king:
I am looking at designing a  PT 17 larger than the 301 square inch airplane that will ship to the prototype builder on Saturday. Which would you be most likely to buy? 44" wingspan 560 square inches for .35 to .40, or 48 3/4" wingspan 677 square inches for .45 to .60?

Thanks,  Pat

Pat,
For some bigger is always better. For Bipes I think that it surely doesn't hurt.the deciding factors are cost and market for the item. For serious stunt work, obviously not, and I don't know weather a sport 60 profile model would be popular. So that said 35/40 sized models are really the mainstay of the hobby.

I'd kind of like to have a yellow pearl.
