Would anyone be interested in a 54" wingspan 536 square inch laser cut profile scale F4U Corsair? The airplane would have the standard Corsair bent gull wing. The bellcrank will be mounted through the fuselage on a pin. The rib profile will be symmetrical. the airplane will not have flaps. The airplane will be able to compete in profile scale or be a great sport flier. With a good 45 the airplane should be capable of level flight, inverted flight, inside loops, outside loops, figure "8" , wingovers, etc. The gear will be mounted on the wing. I would think the kits will sell in the $175.00 range until I find out otherwise. I have all the structure and building methods worked out for the leading edge and the bent section of the wing. As you can see the leadouts do not go through the wing. The scale shape wing has 20 degrees of anhedral on each side in the first panels near the fuselage. It then bends around to end up with 9 degrees dihedral on a side. Now I have to do all the rest of the formal drawing work.
