This is a Stearman PT 17 that is 3/4” = 1’-0” profile scale (1/16 size) for beam mount .049 to .061 engines. Do not fly this airplane with an old weak .049! It has a 24” top wing and 169 square inches of wing area. The airplane has scale dihedral on both wings. It will loop, do lazy eights, and do wingovers. That will get extra points from the judges. If you want to try 1/2A Profile Scale competition this is an easy way to get started with a competitive airplane. The kits sell for $80.00 plus postage.
