This laser cut kit builds an F6F-3 for radial mount or beam mount engines. The airplane is Profile scale. The airplane has a 25” wingspan and 113.2 square inches of wing area.  Hmm. If this one had a built up wing with a symmetrical airfoil I'd be all over it.

This is another of my entry level; Profile Scale airplanes for 1/2A. These are to allow people to try 1/2A Profile Scale competition. If I do a built-up symmetrical airfoil airplane I don't know that I would do a 1/2A size airplane. What about a .15 size that had a built-up symmetrical wing that was straight?

 Yep, I knew that Pat, and please do stick to your plan. I was just looking over the drawing, and got to thinking...

 Now personally, I would definitely consider building a .15 size version. If I was to do so though I'd be looking for a sheeted L/E and also the trademark Hellcat dihedral. If it doesn't have that bend in the wing then it ain't quite a Hellcat.  :)
