Windy was right about retarder
« on: September 21, 2024, 07:02:30 PM »
Added 10 to 15% retarded to the clear then THIS happened. I tried to cheat the system instead of WAITING for a better, less humid day!  HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> Your results may very but for my planes, it's not worth the RISK. 1st photo shows the paint crackling and the 2nd one shows the red BLED through.

I guess the retarder keeps the solvent from flashing off so it has more time to eat the decals?

Mr. Kevin,
I hate this happened to you. I have nothing constructive to say about your issue.

You build beautiful models, so I'm looking forward to seeing the completed airplane. Those graphics/colors pop!
