Perverse attention to detail,  That is Windy and how he finished his planes. No flaw was passed over.

   And, no videotape was spared. One of the unique features of Windy's videos is the near utter lack of editing. The effect was to show you just about every instant, every swipe of the sandpaper, etc. It's not compelling filmmaking but it utter and completely eliminates the notion that there are some "secrets" to it, aside from hard work and attention to detail. Intentional or not, the effect was to make it clear to everyone that if they worked as hard, they could do it to, and the result was that if you did it like he did, you would get similar results.

    That's very important and people need to know that it's not magic, and that they could do it too. And it was extremely effective. Half the time, he was so enthusiastic that he just gave out the tapes for free.
