Something to test your painting skills
« on: December 16, 2018, 05:46:38 PM »
Just about ready for clearcoats on my new Rare  Bear for 2019.  It's an improved version of the one I  built last winter.  Fully moulded fuselage to save weigh  and an overall better shaped fuselage.  All dope finish using Randolph, Certified and Brodak products.  Power is Plettenburg 15-22 with TP 6S 2800 batteries and Igor's active control system.
Only thing remaining is to paint on the Rare Bear logos on the fuselage sides and add my MAAC number.  Then do ink lines and clear.

Looks really good, Alan. The transparent canopy really does look much better. Three more AP's, I'd bet. Looks to me like PW painted your MAAC numbers on there already!  LL~ Steve
