Title: Vinyl trim material - most fuel proof brand?
Post by: Dennis Toth on December 24, 2019, 08:27:52 AM
Guys,
I have used vinyl trim/lettering on several ships and some were better than others. The ones from Coverite were totally fuel proof and I never applied any clear coat or wax, had them on my OTS Ringmaster for over 10 years with glow fuel and diesel. I got some lettering from the local graphics shop and when I did the clear top coat had the edges curl up a bit, had to use CA to fill the edge.

Was wondering if anyone knows what brand of vinyl (3M,Oracal, Avery, VVIVID, etc.) would hold up to fuel and top coat?

Best,   DennisT
