Title: tried and true
Post by: roger on April 16, 2009, 06:00:24 AM
hey has any body tried poly clear from minn wax itreally works well for coveing up wood grain, but, ive only tried it with silk span on a profile body. just get your bare balsa body, all finished off first get the span  and start sticken er down i then used mono coat over every thing, youll be surprised how nice it covered and hardley no smell.   and any small hair line wrinkles that may appear can get ironed out with your iron before the monocoat goes on.
