Guys,
Anyone find a tape for masking that can be left on for several days without damaging paint?

If you find it they will come.....

Haven't found one yet.  I put painter's paper on all but the last 1/8" of the tape and hope it doesn't lift up before I get it painted.  With anything over 1/8" I get pulls.  Painting is not my strong suit.

I gently, GENTLY, heat the tape with my heat gun as I prepare to pull it off.  Usually helps. ~^

Slightly heat the tape surface until it comes off easily no matter how long the paint has been applied. Pull on it parallel to the surface slowly and never 90 degrees straight up. If you find a tape with such poor adherence that easily releases I'd question how sharp the paint lines would be without bleed.
