I have a 60 size Legacy that was powered with a pipe set up that I am going to convert to electric. It came out a bit heavy but still flew well but the finish wasn't my best. I'd like to get back to bare wood and remove the Ultracote. What is the best was to remove the Rustoleum? I tried a fast search but didn't really find what I was looking for.
Thanks,
James

Acetone, Goo Gone and elbow grease did a wonderful job on the junker Shoestring I rebuilt. I can't swear it was Rustoleum though. But the acetone took it right off and didn't seem to faze the hard clear base coat, whatever it was. She's a beauty now, other than a few patches of pretty I've knocked off of it. It was heavy Yellow from nose to tail and I stripped it in about a week of evenings doing detail work

Klean Strip works well but the clean up in tough. I would try a heat gun

I haven't been able to find the Dad's brand local. Checked Lowe's today and they had Goof Off, Crown, and Jasco (I think).
