soft epoxy
« on: July 17, 2017, 03:58:09 PM »
Had 2 unopend cans of Black Baron epoxy
tried the blue one with a brush it worked fine on plane "A"
Tried the yellow one it did not harden on plane "B"
should I try to wipe off the soft yellow with thinner or acetone
Wish there was a hobby shop near me that had Klass Kote

Sounds like the hardener didn't work.   Try some heat and see if that help it harden up.  I do remember my flying partner from years ago forgot the hardener on a small batch sprayed a racing plane with.   It was summer time and he put the plane in the car with the windows rolled up.   A couple of hours later it was hard as nails.

KlassKote.com, shipping might be pricy, but just buy a lot of primer and colors!!!
