Nope, I do it the hard way, but may adopt this method. Looks simpler. Just enough accurate and realistic lines can add to a model, but too many that make no sense ruin it to me. Thanks for this tip.

I've never seen anyone present a photo of or mention a template. I'm sure it's a secret.

You see double lines on my template only because of the layout time, quicker this way with my program.
The finished product has a single line representation. You can tell by the holes.
I found the correct P-40 layout on line. Correct? Reasonably correct, but not really for the shape of a Ringmaster wing.
First model I ever drew pen lines on, still only took less than an hour to do all the bottom for what you see in these photos. Moving the ruler around because of wet ink takes up time. Go back to the area you left when the ink dries.
Here's the pen. Dries impervious to water, even hard rubbing.
Works for me.
