Hit up the infamous Uncle Jimby, he seems to have a little of everything like that.

I did, but only to ask his help at getting a mortgage to finance my trip to the paint store.

I have a full Valspar paint bank at my work. If you can cross reference to ppg toners to the Valspar toners i may be able to help. It may cost you a jawbreaker or two.....lol

Thanks, James.  I am reluctant to try something different. The local store won’t sell me less than a quart, but maybe I can get a toot from another branch of the store.  Jimby thinks I am a cheapskate, and that I should buy a quart of each to show my dedication to stunt.  I’ll try to persuade my wife to take in ironing to cover the cost.

 Howard,

You might try asking your local outlets about this Nason stuff? Our local Auto Value (chain) store mixes as little as a 1/4 pint while-u-wait. I just learned of it this past summer when I needed a bit of touch-up for my '51 Ford. I drove the car out there, they came outside and scanned the color then mixed up a 1/4 pint right then and there. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes for 11 bucks.

Hi Howard:

I was able to get a 2-ounce bottle of PPG toner,  mixed to the color I wanted, at an auto body supply store in San Leandro. It was $20 for this tiny bottle, but better than $150 for a quart. I expect specialty auto body repair suppliers in your neck of the woods should be able to get it. You might also contact San Leandro Color, in, oddly enough, San Leandro, CA to ask if they can brew up what you need. Larry Wong lives about a mile from there and mixes all his own colors. He could probably be persuaded to pick it up for you. I live about 5 miles away and could be persuaded, but not as easily as Larry. The 2 oz bottle will mix to make 8 oz of sprayable material, though I will probably only make 4 oz for my small project, pictured.

Cool.  Thanks.  I'll look into persuasion if my field trip to paint stores north of here Monday fails.
