Hi All, just wondering if I could get some advice. I have a PPG agent across the road from my work, and while they're good, they don't speak model aircraft.

Rather than ending up with a base over clear system, I ended up being sold on direct gloss 2K colours. All well and good for sport models but it doesn't cut it for a proper stunt ship.

I'm considering going to a deltron base but I can't seem to get a proper answer out of what clear is the *right* clear for our needs.

Can anyone help?

  Another one to look into is the Dupont (or whatever the company is called now) Nason system. You can find a lot of information on it on the forums here. It's widely available, and can be purchased in smaller amounts to help control costs. The clear is pretty widely used. I'm usre PPG has something that is similar.
