Title: Polyspan fuzz
Post by: tom brightbill on November 21, 2013, 07:11:13 PM
I found that prior to final clear coats areas of fuzz can be mostly removed by using caution and a new #11 Exacto blade.  Shave them off by tilting the blade and shaving quite lightly from many different directions, being patient to make many passes. It has taken some practice.  Of course, it's obviously best to not get yourself into the situation to begin with.  Good luck.

Hi Tom,

I agree with you! I use a straight edge razor blade for the same thing. Don't ask me why I did that! LOL!

Hope I see at a contest one day.

Later, GA

Reminds me of a gorilla joke.

Give the fuzzies a toot of clear and sand them with 1000 grit sandpaper-- a tip from Pete Peterson.

Yep, you can usually save it if you put a little extra clear on the fuzzies, let it dry thoroughly, and then work it down carefully with some superfine.
