Title: Pannel Lines on Monocoat
Post by: Ken Culbertson on March 28, 2018, 11:41:40 AM: I have searched site and youtube with no luck using every word combination I can think of to answer two questions:

1 - what do you use to put panel lines on monocoat
2 - what clear coat do you seal it with.

A long time ago, I learned they don't exactly hold up forever. So I sprayed over them with Topflite lusterkote crystal clear. They held up great, except if you need to touch up or repair. Then shrinkage is a factor. Otherwise, those Topflite panel line pens with Topflite lusterkote crystal clear worked really good.

Thanks - Tower still has the pens but nobody appears to have lustercote clear. Will anything else work?

Post by: Randy Powell on March 30, 2018, 12:54:00 PM: I've used pens for Mylar on Monokote to do ink lines and shot catalyzed polyurethane on it. Seems to work OK.
