Not a warbird, and it's a Brodak spinner.James
If you add any weight to the spinner, it will be out of balance. I have a long sad story abut a long needle nose spinner that was out of balance on my Super Cavalier and it wasn't dented. It just came that way.So be very careful about adding off set weight to any spinner. What's a dent anyway, but character. Kinda like a bent nose. Just where exactly on the spinner is the ding??
Hi James. I have had a few get dents in the same area. I found a sturdy dowel (not unlike some found nose paint brushes), rounded off and a small hammer I could tap the dent out enough so it didn't matter. ANY weight added to the spinner near the tip will only accentuate the off balance nature of the thing. If you don't believe me, just add weight and have some fool start the engine for you. You stay behind it.
