Title: Paint to match ultracote

Does anyone know of a paint to match ultracote? I'm using True red on wing and tail and would like to paint the rest.                   Thanks John

Try taking a peice of the covering to your local paint store.  I have used Ace Hardware to mix some point for me using the scrap of material I had.

Try red Rustolieum, bet it's pretty close.

You could look for some Hanger 9 Ultrakote paint (no longer in production), Radio South will give you an exact match Polyurethane or by from Nelson:

Despite their claims, Ultrakote paints are not even close to fuelproof!!  Been there, checked it out myself.  In additon, the color I chose, was not a near match for the flilm with the same name.  Rip off grande!

I find that Lusterkote is very fuel-proof, but their color match in the one case where I needed it, was bogus.  I can't say for the other colors.

Klass Kote can match Ultracote also.
