I was talking to someone about paint issues (in this case orange peel) and thought it might be a good idea to post a really cool site I found that outlines a number of paint issues and their cures.

You would be surprised what 1500 / 2000 / 2500 / 3000 + Buffing machine - polisher and 100 hrs can do.

Yea, but it's nice if you can get the clear on so that you don't need that so much. ;D

Thanks for posting Randy, maybe by me shooting at low pressure is what produces the orange peel in my paint.

John,
It's part of why I use a good gun. Takes one more thing out of the equation. Generally with orange peel, it's a case of either too much material (not thinned enough) or not enough pressure. The paint isn't adequately atomized. If your gun is predictable and you know it well, that's one less thing to adjust.

Randy,
Thanks again , it never occured to me to use more pressure . I have always used the minimum even with the Urethane clear. As far as enough thinner I use plenty.
Thanks one last time. John
