Title: Neon Paint

it will mix with most any type of paint except enamel....i used it in clear dope,i also painted my helicopter canopies using 2 part sickens.. put it in some clear then used a white base coat and sprayed the floursent color over that. I then applied the clear top coat clear. we use 30% nitro and it was fully fuel proof...Doug

One problem I’ve noticed with fluorescent paint is that the color fades in the sun. Then if you put a UV-protecting clearcoat on it, it won’t fluoresce.

I fly on a lot ringed by trees 2/3rds around. I doubt I could lose THAT plane in the tree line. I don't care how long the paint lasts, since it would outlive any plane I fly anyway. I'll be watching for where this topic goes because I never considered florescent colors for my airplane palette.

Steve used the acrylic lacquer based Pactra neons that are for Rc lexan car bodies, andwith a 2 part Acrylic Urethane top coat. Both these paints are discontinued

Pretty sure Murray is on the ACFC FB page occasionally. That means you can look him up on FB and send him a message...I think! I don't really understand very well how FB works. Bruce P. should be able to send you an email address, so that should be another option. H^^ Steve
