Mixing Different Brands of Epoxy
« on: August 23, 2015, 04:19:31 PM »
I have a can of Hobbypoxy Custom Metalizer I would like to use on a new plane. Problem is I don't have the proper color Hobbypoxy Part A. Has anyone tried using it with K&B Superpoxy  Part A?
The metalizer is designed to make the Part A metallic.

Ive done it a long time ago but I would still do a test part first. Do you have the right thinner?

Still have some  original K&B thinner left so I'm ok there. Have a test piece drying, curing now and so far it looks like it is working . But I have had some mixes in the past that just never cured so I'll know better in the morning.
