Title: MIG 15
Post by: john e. holliday on September 30, 2017, 09:20:54 PM
On another post mention was made of the spray nozzle on the DP 540 paint.  Yes it is for the birds, in other words it is crap.   Finished off the can I had on the MIG 15, a design from Brazil.   Sanded it and sprayed with the ACE version of Rustoleum.   Was told it was same stuff.   Well I had to try it.   This Gloss Red  over the gray primer.   The nozzle was fantastic to use and the paint laid down real nice.    Not a 20 pointer but then this is going to be a fun air plane to just get out and fly, hopefully.  Power will be an OS LA 25.

By the way the base is the want to be silk span with the Ebay Mylar on top.

Doc,

Small photo and I wish it enlarged, but from what I can see the model looks fine.  H^^

What do you have for the wings as far as lettering or logos?

Can you put up a larger photo?

That was from after editing for the Ringmaster Forum.   Don't want it to large as you will see all my sloppiness in construction.   My graphics will be the usual scraps of Monokote.   This is just a fun design in honor of Marcus. D>K
