Trying to decipher FBO websites to figure out if they sell paint is -- trying.

Anyone buy Randolph dope in the PDX area?  I'm in Oregon City, so I'd be looking at Canby, Molalla, Aurora, & Troutdale, I guess -- Estacada has an airport, and is absurdly close, but I don't know if it hosts any parts places.

Second choice is to just order from Brodak, but I want to check price & availability from the locals first.

Since a quart seems to be the minimum quantity, right now I was going to just get a quart each of tautening and non-tautening Butyrate clear, which should last a good long while.

I'm not sure I'm ready to mix my own colors.  This is mostly for small tissue & silkspan planes that are going to get trimmed with colored tissue.  When I get ready to paint something up nice, then I'll need to think about where to get colored dope, or how to mix.

What are the hazmet charges when you order the gallon sizes ?
How do you go about mixing your own colors, you do this with the Randolph clear dope ??

Spencer Aircraft is great.  Chris Cox and I ordered a bunch of clear and colors and requested all be shipped in quarts to do away with the Hazmat charge and they were happy to do so.  They even kept the gallon cost on the clear the same for us.  It was a pretty good size order.  Otherwise I just stop there when I'm on my way down to a contest if I want it in a gallon size.
