Title: Higgins Inks

 I haven't used these inks in a long time, what is the ratio of ink to thinner/dope?  And wha is the best way to apply it on balsa??  Much obliged...

Hi Gil,  we had good success adding one bottle of Higgins to about 12 ounces of thinned clear dope.

  Thanks Bill, I remember your write up in S N some years ago and I went to look for, and ordered some inks about ten days ago and cant find the email that I ordered them on!!  This Ole Timers stuff a'int worth a hoot!!   Can you tell me where I can get some of these inks..  Thanks

I use them, for panel lines. I bought it at an art supply store many moons ago. I've never tried using it on balsa though.

   Have you done a search on the forums?  I just did and several threads came up. So do a search and see what you can determine from the results.

Hi Gil, it’s Higgins fade-proof ink. Available at most art supply places, lots listed online, even think Amazon sells it. Got mine at Arlenes art supply in Albany, NY. Good hunting!
