Sterling P-38 (kit S-17) decals scan

Trying to get new all-in one print / scan /copy working. Epson wireless WF310 that I got on clearance for $52 and another $60 in ink, but my other scanner died so WTH. Wireless link to printer is cool.

Test scan of  decals

Looks like it worked- I zoomed it and all the detail was there.

If your building that model then consider using some OS10's on it. More then enough power and they are really cheap on fuel.

NIce job on the decal...I built one of these decades ago with two fox .15's...although an exercise in frustration getting the two running at the same time...when they did what a cool song in the air.  Course with those engines
it would glide like a brick when they both quit...on one engine it would fly/glide a few laps then land and taxi till my brother could hit the turning prop with a towel...those were the days.  About 1967.

I have my 2nd one of the Sterling P-38 is 5 years. The first had OS15FP's and was literally a rocket ship at 90 MPH.
The 2nd has 2 OS10FP on 7/3 APC props and while I have a small tank problem the airplane is fun to fly. It has had both engine quit at different times and flies on as if nothing happened and it does glide. But to tell the truth I threw over 1/2 of the kit away and used lighter wood and used 1/32 ply instead of their luan ply that they supplied. Finish is Brodak dope and paint.

Just looked at the printer on Epson's site, $129.00, BUT, have you tried to print a decal yet? I had some printed by a freind with an inkjet printer and the ink just beaded up and wouldn't dry, wasted a bunch of decal paper.

Your gotta use "ink jet" decal paper!! Then spray with Krylon Crystal Clear rattle can paint (or equivalent or air brush clear).
