Gorilla Glue and Acetone Mix
« on: April 10, 2019, 01:56:00 PM »
Has anyone heard of mixing Gorilla Glue (Urethane type) and Acetone to coat balsa with to eliminate wood grain?  I have used Zpoxy to do this but have never heard of this combination.  If you have tried it, how did it work and what is the mixing ratio

Thank you
Mike

I suggest you try it out on some scrap cardboard. Why waste a good piece of balsa? Maybe Denatured Alcohol would be worth testing too. Let us know how it works out.

Think S.M.A.L.L. y'all and, it's all good, CL, FF and RC!
