How do you do Ghost Letters like your AMA number with Butyrate Dope?

Buy some pearl powder in the colors you want and then add it to your butyrate clear. It doesnt take much.
Mask off your letters then spray the pearl dope colors.

sorry Chris I got two smart assed answers cuz I suck at special effects but have paid dearly for a pro to do what I wanted on my motorcycle

first smart answer...search airbrush techniques...ghost skulls....dozens of you tubes to meander through

second...find your local starvin marvin motorcycle painter....Foose is big buck crazy expensive...Billy doing TeeShirts on the side when not doing a custom bike set of tin can be really worth the modest cost.....

   When I refinished my Electra I did just as Keven suggested. I get my pearls from an online co. called " Paint With Pearl" I don't like mine ...

You can use a color just a tad lighter or darker than base color. That's one way. Throwing pearls in either clear or self same lighter or darker base colors can work also.
