Robert, with your skill and love of building you could maybe enter the world of scale, you would excel immediately, I guarantee!  That would ad another event for you and more people would enjoy your models - just think, flying stunt AND scale during the nats!!!!!

Here is the totals. E Viper 2 weighs 54.45 with a 2826/12 and E Viper 3 weighs 55.10 with the bigger 3515/18. So I would say they came in at the same weight. This one is finished just short of a month. I have so much time left I might build another one.

Yes the 35 series is 1/4 ounce heavier.

I would like to add after bench trimming the plane I had to change spinners and props it came out at the exact same weight. If I changed motors is would be 54.25. But I am happy the are both 54.45.Take the battery out and they are a 45 ounce 700 square inch airplane. Not too bad.

Both planes balance in the same spot. This one will get its first flight when the weather breaks.
