Chartpack self-adhesive film question
«
on:

I can't seem to find an acceptable setting of my Epson CX7400 ink-jet printer to make a decent output on Chartpak's Opaque White self-stick ink-jet film.
Anyone have a clue?

Tried cutting down from my normal 300 dpi to 150. No joy! Lower than that, and detail will start to degrade. 300 works fine on the water slide decal papers.

That's it? Nobody have a clue? I am not getting any response from the manufacturer either! I am really bummed on this!!!
I need an answer. My work around with other media really isn't doing the job.

Larry, I'm sorry you're getting no help, but my CX5000 worked fine at 300 on the Chartpak for my last finish job. What results do you get on your Epson? (Other than bad ones.)

Thanks for asking.
I get either very faint on "Draft" and regular paper, or runny, blurred, blotchy, wet on every other combo I have tried. Surely there is some setting or work-around.

I think you're right, it almost has to be, especially since you get good results on the water transfer decal material. Maybe if you go to the Epson site and do some asking there?
Keep us posted.

I know with water transfer decals, I use the photo setting on my printer.

Good idea on e-mailing Epson. I did contact Chartpak and got NO response at all!
