Anyone ever use this stuff? Any good? They have a few colors that's buy 1 get 1 free.. if is worth a damn I'll get a couple rolls.
Monokote and others alike in my area are nearly $20 a roll :0

I bought several rolls of it one year to use on the Brodak Original Magician with a Brodak .25. The rolls were Red, White and Blue. The Red and blue were okay but the White was cr**. It is the one iron on covering I not use any more. The main problem was getting the backing off of them, all three colors. No I did not bug John Brodak about it as I know he would sned more of the stuff. My experience. Keep an eye out for the finishing on my new plane. H^^

I bought one roll of yellow to try last year. Getting the backing off is next to impossible. I'll keep using MonoKote.
Sounds like it's on sale for a reason because nobody wants it.

Just curious because i never had that problem with the white or coloured film i had from Brodaks...
Did you use the two tape method to try and separate the backing?
Also, i remember reading on the forum that some covering sold by Brodak does NOT have any backing...

I used the tape method that worked sometimes, but the one color the backing would come of in strips.

Just Covered a foam wing RST with (always on sale) Brodak Kolar Kote.. this time some purple... OK ...but I prefer other stuff better
I highly recommend staying away from the Brodak Kolar Kote "Black" as the glue/color does NOT stay stuck to the plastic and makes a grand mess!!!!

I have used Brodak covering a few times. Mostly good results. Stay away from purple, when it shrinks it leaves a glue line. Had no trouble with blue or red. All backing came off easily.

As an add on, Ultracote is the easiest covering I have used. Two temps, one for gluing down and a higher temp for shrinking. If you check the bay you can get some good deals on it.
