Hello,
I purchased some red and white checkerboard from Brodak for a Ringmaster. I've used Windex before to put vinyl graphics on flat surfaces, but this is a little different. Before I go and mess it up how do I get it to settle over the wing ribs at the leading edge?

I had the same problem with the rather stiff trim sheets, I wound up painting it on.

Thanks. Didn't know if there was an easy way to make it flexible enough to go over all those compound curves.

  The adhesive is pretty aggressive on these sheets, so make sure everything is clean, dry and not greasy in any way. As you apply the trim sheets, and you need to go around the leading edge, just try a slight amount of warm air, like from a hair dryer, not a heat gun, and see if that softens it up. Once you have it stuck down, run just the tiniest bit of thin C/A along the edges to seal them down and secure them.

You may want to do a test piece before committing to the actual wing. This would also give you a chance to get a feel for how much heat to apply.
