I am going to do a plane with Brodak Candy Pink, which I have never done before. I know its a challenging task but I am going to do it and use the Klass Kote clear over the candy. The question I have is can I use a white primer as the base or do I have to put a white dope down first. As always, thank you in advance for your assistance.

So, I figured it out on my own. If anyone else ever considers candy colors, a good quality etching primer wet sanded to 3000 worked very well. The candy lays down great, but it is not forgiving in the least bit. If you see a flaw in the primer Candy will amplify it 10 fold. But with the Klass Kote clear the color looks beautiful.
