Big aarrggghhh for me too.

I know better, but leaving a model  on the paint stand for 3 months, is a very, very BAD thing.  I "cleaned" the area to be painted, did all the required masking, and applied a coat of thin white. BUT, big and I do mean big circles formed.   Very much like fish eyes only different.  Well, this after noon, I wet sanded the entire area, then applied a thin coat of white primer. Sitting in a garage with all the come and go that takes place, strange fumes, etc, there is no telling what settled in the primer on the surface of that model.  HB~>

Ty, I have used Dawn dish detergent on Automotive surfaces to clean and prevent "fish eyes"  never tried it on models though.  It cleans a lot of dirty air pollon that settles on painted surfaces.. :! y1 H^^

Okay Chief, if you want a real circus, next time put some masking tape on it and leave that on just as long!  You're likely wondering why I might bring that up?  Weeeeelllllllll, I once masked a ship off just as contest season started and let it go until fall.  We won't talk about the mess and heartache come October that year! Ty, a rather quick and less oily anti bug spray is hair spray.  That freezes their wings in midair and you get to watch the crash!
