Does it work alright to use aerogloss sanding sealer and put Brokak clear and Color over it?
Thanks in advance
-
I meant aero gloss.

Alas, the label is black and orange.
Thanks

Allen,
Just make your own filler. Mix clear dope with some talc or zinc sterate, add a bit of gray dope to tint it (I actually use black and white dope, but it's the same thing) shoot it on. Makes a fine filler coat.

I am brushing this on. I used clear dope as sanding sealer - two coats with sanding after each coat. It came out nice and smooth. This is on a wood surfaces. The color didn't go on nicley. I think it needed to thinned more. I thinned it some. We'll see how the next coats go. We'll will cover the built up wings with Sig Aerokote.
This is for a 1/2 A model - Waco YKS-6 biplane, a Brodak kit. Thanks for the suggestions. Any suggestions for thinning dope. I have thinner. I think I have it too thin now - yes it's butyrate dope and butyrate thinner.

I used Sig dope over Aero Gloss clear on this dog:

Was it the stuff in the orange and black bottle?

Orange and black can. Not much is left, boo hoo. I like Aero Gloss. I got the impression, though, that there was some variability to the formula. I got a batch once that severely cracked when it dried. Ty may have also been a victim of an errant batch.
