AARRG!!!

Just finished this, uses Oriental ribs, flies real nice. For the black I chose engine block paint, I thought for sure paint made for engines would be somewhat fuel proof, but alas it is not, lots of peeling around the tank and a few other places.  HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~>

How long did you let it cure?  Even butyrate dope has to cure for a week or more to slightly fuel proof. D>K

If you can ensure that you've cleaned it out, then let it sit for another week or so, I've successfully cleared over an issue I had with the same situation. It was on a little 1/2a crop duster. The orange wasn't fuel resistant. I made sure all the fuel and castor was gone, then sprayed it with clear. It's cool now.

Now, one thing to consider is that it is engine paint, and may require longer to fully cure, or some sort of heating or baking the finish. Sitting in a sunny window may do the trick, or gently heating with a hair dryer. Sometimes Rustoleum can take several weeks to fully cure.
  Type at you later,

Hi Dwayne.  Please be advised that the term "AARRG" should be followed by either "Mateys" or "me mates".  Or you could find yourself beached and become a land lubber. H^^ LL~ LL~ LL~

Eye me Matey, I be keeping that in mind!  #^ n~ LL~
