So what's best for panel lines on $kote I asked, why a Sharpie they replied, cool should I shoot some clear over top I asked, why yes you should shoot some clear over top they replied, so I shot some clear over top, if I ever run into "they" I'm going to bop them in the nose. LL~ HB~>

FWIW I've used the Sharpies with success. When it came time for clear I started by gradually building it up with several light "dry" coats. A bunch of them first, allow to dry thoroughly, then take a big breath and give it one good final coat without going to too crazy with it.

I've successfully used a sharpie using about the same method as Wayne. However I also discovered the sun fades sharpie markers rather quickly.

I use Micron pens with Mylar ink. But pretty much the same as what Wayne said.

My question is: Did you wipe the surface down good before the Sharpie application? Also do one area at a time. I have to wear gloves when I do some thing like this as my hands have oils as well as the surface of MonoKote. ???

Yeah, I've noticed the same.

All fixed and looking quite "sharp" (see what I did there? <= ) if I do not say so myself. There's 2 lightly misted coats so far and all is well.
Thanks for the help.

Looks great! How did you get rid of the previous mess?

It's Monkote no need to worry about going though the finish so I used thinners, came right off real easy.
