Paint Filter

Gentlemen,

Have you attempted to use Coffee Filters to strain your paint?

Are Paint filters more or less porous than the Coffee Filters?

Would there be an problem with this substitute?

Paint filters are more like strainers than filters. Not sure you'll get enough solids through a coffee filter. Guess you'll see.

coffee filters are not suitable for straining paint.
Most paint stores have paint strainers for free, or cheap
the closest substitute is several layers of cheesecloth

Lowes or Home Depot has them for cheap also.  No, coffee filters won't work.
