Fingernail polish?

Fingernail polish comes in a zillion colors.  Has anyone tried mixing fingernail polish with dope?

I've done it a few occasions and it works fine.  Its not a very cost effective way for a color change though.  I used the cheapest I could find at Walmart. The colors are fine but it takes quite a bit to affect change.  I used it for tinting red and blue with some pearl.  Better to just go to the auto paint store and tell them what you want.

I have used nail color for trim paint several times. Mixed it with butyrate thinner and sprayed it on. Worked just like dope for me. I got a bunch of 1 oz bottles at an outlet store. If it smells like dope and mixes with the thinner OK it should spray just fine. Of course one could always run a test patch first.
