Yes Paul, the Cheeseheads flew Sunday. Unbelievable 84 degree day in Wisconsin. We all agreed that we should have Bi-Slobs for next year. Dave and Chris both think it would be a good trainer for me. Since it turns so quick, maybe I could get inverted flying down and get over the yips. I told Paul in an email about the first flight on my Nakke. Lots of adjustments to be made on this one. Way too much line tension and didn't want to turn very well. I purposely had it nose heavy and a lot of tip weight to make sure it stayed out on the lines. It sure did. Thought my arm was going to be pulled out of it's socket. Need .017 lines before I try to fly it again. Should have had them anyway because it has a Thunder Tiger 42 in it. I flew it with .015's and got worried about the tremendous strain on them. The TT42 is by far the strongest engine I have flown. Wish you were a Cheeshead too or we lived down there with you.

It was a lot of fun.  It got windy and turbulent later in the day.

The Slob had a little more battle damage, I tried slowing it down for Chis it kept falling out of the sky.  Bent gear a cracked spar and other little stuff. The engine is always too fast or too slow.  I got a few nice hovers.  Chris got some very nice ones I was tempted to got out and grab it out of the air.

Joe's Naake is very nice.  The engine is a brute.  Had a little trouble getting it started, and I set for 2 stroke and it picked up in the air, so it pulled real hard.   One of Joe's arms is longer than the other one now.   I was having trouble choking the engine, the venturi is the size of sewer pipe.

Nice day, drank a gallon of water when I got home.    It was worth raking leaves in the dark to go out and fly in October when the weather is like that.

Yes, we had a ton of fun. ;D

In order to get out Sunday, Dave was up late the night before raking leaves with a Colman lantern for light.  n~

Joes Naake made it's inaugural flight and seems to be nice and stable.  Trim flights to follow.  The first thing Joe did as soon as it landed was move the leadouts forward.  His arm was pretty sore after a full tank of pulling.  Unlike his Nobler, the first flight went well.

Dave let me take his Bi-Slob for a spin and again - I GOTTA GET ME ONE OF THOSE!  What  a blast; by next spring I WILL be a Slobber.  At one point the Slob was blubbering so rich it just came down and parked itself with the Fox still running . . . funny.    LL~

I finally got a good run on my Vector, just need to work out some minor trim issues.  It looses tension on some of the outsides, like in the Clover leaf, but overall it flys really nice.

I'll try to post a couple of pictures later today.
