Title: You never know what you will find
Post by: RC Storick on April 07, 2008, 12:48:30 PM
I am doing a through cleaning of my shop today. I was surprised to find I have not one but two airplanes that with in a week can be ready to start finishing. I will keep you posted on the find. These are full size stunter's with wings and stabs complete. So If I build a fuse this week I can stick at least one together.

Is one of those by any chance the plane you started to do the online build with, the 30's air racer?

Must be. If I have any more than ONE plane under construction at a time, I'm tripping over them for lack of room! LL~

Heck, I can lose 3 or 4 in my shop, and it ain't THAT big!  But, if I dug around, I can possibly unearth a couple planes that are hidden by clutter........  I lose stuff all the time on the table!  (and bench*es*)  People who have seen can verify..............  :'(

Hi Paul,

When I gave up R/C for good, I called a fella who lives nearby and gave him a pick up truck load of stuff.  He enjoyed it and still has most of it!

Not quite ready to get out of CLPA just yet....... ;D

Have you used the mufflers?

Probably..........  I went looking for my Vulcan plans the other day.  I have built a plane from them and made copies!  I have no clue where they are.  Several hundred plans and I have no real filing system.  Maybe I will do better once I retire this summer.  But I doubt it.  It will probably get worse................

Yup, one is bolted on the Cardinal engine and the other I put on a FP that is on my Green plane. I tried to fly it the week before I went out to the NWest and I could not get the engine to start. I plan on working on getting the engine running this afternoon so I can maybe fly this weekend. We will see if my plan works out. n~ mw~ HB~>

Hey Paul,

If the weather there is anything like here today and given all the rain we've gotten lately, you're gonna need a set of pontoons on your plane to get any flying in for probably the next month!  y1
