Title: YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST! A NEW FLYING HEATEDHANDLE PATENT PENDING HAS ARRIVED!
Post by: Shultzie on February 02, 2009, 12:31:52 PM
IT'S CALLED "THE SMULTZIE-HELMICKITY- HEATED FLICKITY FLYING STICK!"

Designed  and advocated by The world famous n' infamous flying Team of RUSHKIE-N' PAULEEWALKIE Corp.

This beautiful light weight handle is extremely light weight...due to the rechargable battery storage unit that is tucked into a small arm pocket that is "peel and stick" attached to your upper arm or your flying jacket with a small velcro battery case.

Remember that you heard this breaking news..right here on SPARKY'S STUNTHANGER!
attached here is a pre-production pre-view!

I thought that was Pauly's Micro/CF/Superstealth handle. Weights like -.02oz or something.

OPPS!
My poor old Computer...was blown out into cyberspace...just before had a chance to finish that WACKED OUT RAZZ JOB...about our PAUL WALKERS "posolutely-absotiveleee' awesome flying handle.
This new handle that we commissioned Paul Walker and Howard Rush...  was a BRAIN FART IDEA for THE UNFORTUNATE HANDICAPPED STUNT GRUNT KOOTS...that no longer can tolerate cold weather flying.

The attached photo is just a THINK TANK CONCEPT HANDLE...MADE JUST FOR COLD WEATHER FLYING.
The battery pack that is shown in the photo that is attached to Paul's right wrist, locatd just above his flying hand and handle---powers the  all importantly patent pending HEATED CONTROL HANDLE GRIP.
Depending on the temp and the wind chill factor, this handle grip heats to the preset desired temperature setting and as a result...no longer will our chilly little flyin fingers turn that COLD PALE SHADE OF BLUE N' GREY.
WHAT BLESSINGS THIS HANDLE COULD HAVE BESTOWED YESTERDAY   ON THOSE DEDICATED, HARDY-STUNT GRUNTS GATHERED in huddled masses, shivering around their stunt machines...waiting their turn to fly at that wind swept Tarmac at The Tacoma Narrows Airport.

Even more amazing...these gentlemen--Pete Peterson, Randy Powell, Steve Helmick...managed not only to survive the freezing temps....but equally amazing, wat that these cold seasoned grunts...managed to put in some pretty-pretty-pretty-purdeee' looking patterns in the process.

Do not attempt to contact either PAUL WALKER, or his engineering Design partner in crime...because they ARE SWORN TO A SECRET COVENET ISSUED BY
"THE SMULTZIE-HEMLICKITY=FLICKITY ELECTRICALLY HEATED FLYING HANDLE STICK PRODUCTION COMPANY.

Too much information? Too much Drivil...THIS POST SHOULD DISAPPEAR FOREVER INTO CYPERSPACE BY 10:AM Tuesday morning NW Pacific standard Time. S?P VD~ n~ n~ n~ LL~

From the looks of the last plane picture, Paul will be putting the battery's where they belong -in his pocket.

If you have enough money and the desire, you can by certain brand chain saws with heated handle.
A flywheel alternator furnishes the juice to charge the heating coils  S?P

Uh, the guy in the picture has a T-Shirt on.  How cold can it be?

Thought I'd ask.

And the battery in the pocket?  Try one of them nine-volters with a pocket full of change.  You won't do it twice.

Clayton...HOPE THE ICE STORMS MISSED YOU...
Bye the way.....That handle also sends a current down the control lines and keeps them warm, especially in foggy below freezing conditions...IN TRUTH..ONE TRULY HASN'T LIVED THE GOOD LIFE UNTIL YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED YOUR FLYING LINES FREEZING TOGETHER WHILE FLYING A PATTERN...
Years ago, Joe Dill, Bob Emmett and I were cold weather flying in the fog at the Aerospace Center parking lot. All of us were taking notice that the flying lines were freezing and sticking..especially during level laps. Actually made for some REAALLLY close encounters of the alphault parking lot kind.~^ ~^ ~^ %^ %^

Man, that's a sign to go sit down if front of the fire with a good book.

Yeah, we've had some ice.  Not devastating.  Been thru worse.  Got enough downed branches for a nice bonfire.  Nature's way of pruning.  I miss my AWD mini van, I assure you.  My new one (05) has seats that fold into the floor - not a bad feature in itself.  But no room for a drive shaft.  Couldn't figure out why I hadn't gotten any mail for awhile.  Seems they're not using 4WD stuff either these days.

John Vlna of the SLOW club up in Greenbelt Maryland has sent out an email about this Sunday.  Supposed to be mid to upper 50s.  I think I've got some fuel around here...

And not without merit (the thought).

I'll have you know I do appreciate most of the stuff you send my way.

Clayton, my Cool brotha of toy airplane "Rocks with strings"
Over the years...I have alway enjoyed both Walker and Rush's innovative engineer-induced brains.
Both these gifted stunt grunters...have over the years, come up with so really outstanding modeling related features that make our CLPA a better R&R world to live in.

That new LIGHT WEIGHT HANDLE OF WALKER'S from the first moment I picked it up and "shadow flew" that beautiful Impact from the center of the circle while Paul was filling the tank. INSTANTLY!
This handle not only felt soooo comfortable from the get-go, but better yet, I noticed just how precisely the flap and elevator response was telegraphed to my hand. (Almost like the handle had disappeared completely...like it became part of my body.
Bottom line:
From that VERY MOMENT,WITHOUT EVEN FLYING ...from just that simple act of  SHADOW FLYING with that feather weight handle,
I COULD VISUALIZE JUST HOW EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that  99.99% of all our control handles are WAAAAY TO HEAVY!
However a few minutes later, on my way back to the staging areas...I saw Pete Peterson's new LIGHT WEIGHT custom handle, sitting there with lines connected to his beautiful Venus model about 65 feet or so away.
AGAIN! I picked up that handle...and WOW!
Pete's handle was ALSO..EXTREMELY LIGHT IN WEIGHT...AND AGAIN, I couldn't hardly believe just how important KEEPING THE FLYING HANDLE AS LIGHT IN WEIGHT as possible.
This handle of PETE'S ALSO was quite a REVELATION to this old vintage, living in the dark stone ages of stuntdumb-dome.

Sorry Clayton for the flipp-razz name tweak...(gotta stay off this morning Starbucks java-java thang'thing. n~ n~ LL~

While we're at it...I hear so many of my relatives...with the same  limited gene pool of mine near Rogers, and Eureaka Springs have suffered greatly from the last ICE STORM that blew through NW Arkansas and Eastern Kansas?
I pray that you were spared???? FLYING IN FROZEN FOG SUCKS but ICE STORMS ARE JUST DOWN RIGHT DANGEROUS. ~^

Sorry to hear about one of your adopted animals ran out of luck.... We too have quite a large crop of new "Deereeeo's up here in our NW woods that surround our house.
When you think about it..these "at risk" beautiful little critters face unbelieveable hardships for suvival in such am over crowded world we live in.  :(
I often think about the Ozarks. What an overlooked beautiful place right here in America.

This deer I raised from a three legged doe that was his mama...his daddy got poached by one of my selfish neighbors...all he wanted was the 10 point antlers, and he left the whole carcass to spoil. I try real hard to get the Highway Commission to put up speed limit signs, but they just shine it on. There's a fleet of about 30 10yard dump trucks that go by here several times a day, and they are rolling the road up. Oh well...my little 43 acres won't hold too many bucks anyhow, but I'd like to do the harvestin myself with my bow! ::)
