add in to the mix that you are not living at home but boarding with friends in a different city....what do you do?
our first contest is tomorrow - I have not been able to build anything new for this year due to changing work and what not - and having to board with friends until my family move down ..
looking around the workshop on sunday before I left for the week I see my old broken legacy and parts off a vector 40 that a friend crashed and was going to throw out - so the mind started working and I "Fused" the two together...
Had some old covering lying around too (form when I used to cover with film) - but not enough to do the whole plane as it turns out......so a pop next door to my new work to the sign writers and grab some graphics vinyl offcuts - (grey and white on the fuse)
this is what I ended up with....its rough - but at least I have something to fly ............
will try to get some test flights in tonight or early tomorrow to work out if its a goer - may just end up spectating.......

1. You sir are an insult to those of us who trully have nothing to fly. LL~ HB~>
2. And what is that other blue and white wing I see lurking in the background? Another Nothing to fly perhaps? ;D
3 My garage floor looked that clean once.

thats a T-Rex in the background that I am delivering to a fellow flier.... I sold it to him a while ago so am not able to fly it ..........

You remind me of the girl who states "Why I have nothing to wear!" Your killing me. LOL
Good luck in the contest when you get done can I have you "finish" some of the Frankensteins I have in my garage?

If that is your idea of a throw together parts plane, I sure would like to see your regular build stuff. Very nice looking plane, and I like the trim scheme. You can fly it with abandon and put in a barn burner, cause it's only a throw together right! y1 #^

(Jane in math class) "OMG! I know I've got an "F" on that test...I just know it!"..."There wasn't one question we studied on it!"...(Teacher) "congratulations; Jane got the only 100% score on the math test."
Nice ship...go put a "burner" in.
