Title: YAK 9 Kits
Post by: Mike Griffin on July 02, 2012, 12:21:28 PM
The CAD file is finished and many thanks to my friend Walter Umland for jumping in and finishing the CAD files after many delays beyond anyone's control.

I have sent the CAD file to Eric Rule and he an I are going over the CAD to see if there are any flaws that I did not pick up in building the prototype.  I should be ordering all the balsa for the kits within a week and when it arrives at RSM cutting will start and after that, I will box the kits and get them out to you.

I know the wait has been a little long on this one and I appreciate everyone's patience.

Thank you
Mike

Construction is looking good.  The long wait has just moved it a little further down the line.     H^^

Lookin good. How does the wing fit the fuse? Camera angle does make the wing look rectangular, it is tapered.  y1  The wait will be worth it.  H^^

Hey Big John, was just thinking of you when I read this post.   Hope you are doing a lot better.   Didn't look that good in some of the photos of you.   Anyway get well and stay away from power lines.  H^^

Hi John  good to hear from you again.  The wing fits fine.  I sheet the last three ribs on my wings (plan does not call for that) and it makes it look like a constant chord but as you well know it is not.  I will try to get a better view of the wing and post it.  The CAD has gone to Eric and he should be cutting soon.
