Do a search here, as that question was asked in pretty recent history, and Bob Hunt says that it is closer to happening. Bob will announce when it is finished and ready for orders. Maybe a PM to Bob directly will get you the info pretty quickly if a search doesn't turn it up.
    Type at you later,

Hello
I was able to contact Wynn Paul about the books he is publishing. He let me know that the books were being proof read and that he hopes it will be available by the end of 2021.
                                                                                                                                                                     Juan

I know this is an old thread. But were the books ever published?

Thank you

I recently spoke with Wynn and he's confident that they will be published/printed by March of 2023. He plans to be at the Nats next year with a number of sets in hand and will do a book signing.

"Is there any news regarding the publication of this book?"
YES!! #^
Just spoke to Wynn this evening!
The publisher is working toward having the 900+ page, two volume set, available at the NATS this year.
The first volume is from 1937-1979, and the second volume is from 1980-2014.
The publisher isn't charging sales tax or S&H IF you pick them up at the NATS!
Or have someone pick up a set for you. The set will be a bit expensive to ship since they tip the scales at about 10LBS.
Pricing at the NATS is around $200 for the two volume set and probably $225 after the NATS, plus sales tax & S&H.

Good luck at the NATS & "Tight Lines!" H^^

The following is the latest information that I have received from Wynn about the availability of the Stunt History book set. I received this from Wynn yesterday and he asked me to pass it on:

We are 99% sure to have lots of book sets available at the Nats. Sets there will be sold with no S & H, no sales tax, and a 10% discount. Suggest that friends who cannot make it to the Nats have you pick up a set for them and take advantage of the price and shipping breaks. Probable cost at Nats will be $200 for a two volume set in a slip case - 975 pages with 1500 photos.

Talked to Wynn Paul last week he said that his publisher is trying to get copies together by the end of June 23. If so she will bring them to the nats at the banquet. First come first served. Cash or credit card.

I'm also interested in getting a copy, but I live in Brazil.
I wonder if there's any chance of an "overseas" order.

Guys I hope someone will help you out.  I'm up to nine or ten sets to handle and that's about my limit.  I would think there will be a way to order them domestically but the international orders will most likely require a friend to get it for you and ship it......   I talked to Wynn today and he is trying to make a list for his publisher to bring enough to the Nats.  He says he has advanced orders already for about 85 sets.....  They (he and the publisher ) plan to arrive Sunday early and stay through Wednesday.

Crist if you are going to the Nats and can pick it up there I can tell Wynn to get you listed.  Let me know.  I'd be fairly sure they also will bring some extra so if you are going to the Sunday opening banquet you should be able to get it there on site.

Been reading my copy of the Stunt History books when I lay down of a night I read about a year.  I just finished 1968, the year I got married and had to mis the Olathe Nats.  Surprised to see three of my planes I built for VSC in there.  The Sheek's Spitfire got me the hogh score award for a Sheeks design.  It was also flown at the NATS .  Don't know who sent the pictures in.  Great reading how my heros got started. Got mine about a week ago. I'm still working on the first volume. Very interesting, well written, and informative. Being from the Detroit area I find those parts really interesting.

I would like to relay something that I wish I had done. Make sure to have it insured for the total amount of the purchase and pay for Signature on delivery.

I got them today. the packaging is out of this world. It shows how much Carol cares. I had to actually wait in my driveway and wave the mail delivery girl down to get them.
