Cool. Thanks

The tow vehicle takes it over the top. Cool Heli, would love to see the mechanics under the hood. or if is is independent power trains for each rotor.

WOW!
Is right.
I don't think that's a kit?
Outstanding!
Thanks Mike.

I spent a lot of my life fixing and teaching to fix helicopters so have always been fascinated wit models of any chopper I used to know inside and out
This was cool.. seemed like it was entirely electric.... a few years ago, a Japanese gent did a CH 47 type with twin turbines and true combining transmissions like the full sized craft.... he had $12,900 invested to make the Model craft fly... sounded real, looked real and flew a real looking flight schedule

I'm no where near that cool, but I like scale helis also. Here's my Hughes MD-500. It's still under construction. This was an engine test and blade tracking run. Eventually, when I've got time and money (lol) I'll finish it up.

I was always fascinated by RC Helicopters. I bought a Dubro version of the Hughes 500 but it never was anything but a hangar queen.
Recently I had the opportunity to do work at Ft. Rucker a major training ground for Army Helo pilots. Was able to get up and close to all the birds they had there. The Chinook's were my fav. The Apache's are down right sinister.

I was always a huge RC helicopter guy. Scale, 3d, whatever. I actually kinda quit RC altogether when I found out about control line.
My dream scale heli build is a turbine powered Ericsson Sky Crane.

It just blows my mind with what they can do with helicopters these days. I think is was 70 NATS when my brother and I went over to watch the RC helicopters. I believe the winner was the one that was able to lift off and hover with out crashing. We seen a few that wouldn't eve n leave the deck/ground. D>K
