I was at the "westec" tool show in 2001 saw a machine that could grow plastic parts from the inside out. It was growing chess pieces I liked the rook the best. It was round inside and out. It had steps on the inside wall leading around and down to the floor inside. with an opening not nearly big enough to get in there to do that. oh and it was simulated brick as well in and out.   amazing work. If i could just program it to build airplanes.     jim

Neat stuff!

Someone needs to get one of those machines and make LG wires for everyone!  $5 a set and they would pay off the machine in no time if it's under $100,000.  At least if everyone else is as lazy as I am about bending LG wire. (and I suspect most are! LOL!!)  C/L, R/C, R/C cars, everyone in the hobby needs wire bent. ;D

I'm just patiently waiting on the G-Man to show that RM 1000 and the SDR, too.

It should be noted (and I don't think I am out of bounds to do so, it's posted on the BOTR site) that he just brought his son home from the hospital to recovery from injuries suffered in Iraq, and we are all praying for his fast and complete recovery.  I know he will being home and with his family!  I think G-Man will get the planes done in due time. y1

Give them an opening and they will pile into the hole all at once.  LL~  I've been waitin to win the lottery, but you don't hear me complainin.  LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~ LL~

#1 The 1000 met with terra firma in 2009. Way too much engine and way too fast. A new one is being built, this time ELECTRIC.

#2 I have just been plain lazy with the SDR this winter. You are right, it should have been finished.

#3 He was wounded in Afghanistan.  He is OK and on the mend.  <=

Hi G-Man,

My apologizes!  I thought Richard was in Iraq, but either way I am glad he is finally "at home" where you, the Missus, and all the rest of the family can help him recover.  Give him our best wishes, sincere prayers, and thanks for his service in our defense.

Missed the part on the RM 1000 meeting the Earth!

Gman you can do it. It's easy you just have to press the start button!

Sorry to hear about your son. I am glad to hear he is home.

Bill,
Please tell your son an old Navy guy says "Thanks so very much for serving!"  Our boys & girls are all heroes in my books.
